Seit vielen Jahren unterstützen wir die Region Makwanpur in Nepal durch die Finanzierung einer Patenschaft für Diya.
Nepal ist ein Land, welches unsere Stiftungsfamilie sehr geprägt hat. Fünf Tage nach einem Besuch bei unserem Patenkind Diya im Jahre 2015, erschütterte eines der größten Erdbeben das Land. Dina war zu dem Zeitpunkt zum Wandern unterwegs im Tsum Valley und hat live vor Ort die Ausmaße des Erdbebens erlebt. Anschließend haben wir uns für den Aufbau von Häusern und einer Schule eingesetzt. Mittlerweile haben wir unsere eigene Stiftung geründet und können eigene Spendengelder für den guten Zweck sammeln. Plan International hat das Projekt „Lernen in sicherer Umgebung in Nepal“ ins Leben gerufen. Sie möchten Schulen wieder aufbauen in der Region Makwanpur, der Heimat unseres Patenkindes. Das möchten wir gern unterstützen.

New Diyi for Kids Project – Learning in a safer environment in Nepal
For many years we have been supporting the Makwanpur region in Nepal by financing a sponsorship for Diya.
Nepal is a country that has had a great influence on our family. Five days after a visit of our foster child Diyi in 2015, one of the biggest earthquakes hit the country. At that time Dina was hiking in Tsum Valley and experienced the extent of the earthquake live on site. Afterwards, we supported the rebuilding of houses and a school. In the meantime, we have established our own foundation and can collect our own donations for a good cause. Plan International has launched the project „Learning in a safe environment in Nepal“. We want to rebuild schools in the Makwanpur region, the home of our sponsored child.
