A Sunny Harvest Festival at Domäne Dahlem

Oct 5, 2026

What a weekend! Under beautiful sunshine, the Harvest Festival at Domäne Dahlem attracted a huge number of visitors. Families in particular came out to enjoy the day – and the fields were busy, too: the pumpkins and potatoes were harvested so quickly that the fields were soon almost empty.

Diyi for Kids was there once again, presenting our new stand design and offering our handmade Diyi Charity Gifts. It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet people, have conversations and share more about the work of our foundation.

A special highlight for the younger visitors was the chance to create their own Diyi-Friedis. These little figures stand for peace, humanity and diversity, making these values tangible in a playful way. For us, this is what makes events like the Harvest Festival so special: a colourful day for families, meaningful encounters with people from Berlin and an opportunity to raise awareness of our work to create better educational opportunities for children and young people.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, bought something, made a donation, had a conversation with us or simply spent a little time with Diyi. We are taking home many wonderful encounters and lots of little Friedis – and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Domäne Dahlem.
