New Diyi for Kids Project – Learning in a safer environment in Nepal

For many years we have been supporting the Makwanpur region in Nepal by financing a sponsorship for Diya.
Nepal is a country that has had a great influence on our family. Five days after a visit of our foster child Diyi in 2015, one of the biggest earthquakes hit the country. At that time Dina was hiking in Tsum Valley and experienced the extent of the earthquake live on site. Afterwards, we supported the rebuilding of houses and a school. In the meantime, we have established our own foundation and can collect our own donations for a good cause. Plan International has launched the project “Learning in a safe environment in Nepal”. We want to rebuild schools in the Makwanpur region, the home of our sponsored child.
