The Diyi for Kids project partnerships last about 3 years. How quickly time flies, today we are saying goodbye to our active collaboration with RED NOSES. Friedemann Ziepert from RED NOSES and I agree: Our bond will remain.
Here is an insight into our project from last year. In 2024, the RED NOSES clowns continued to bring joy and hope to the shared refugee accommodation on Schwalbenweg. Twice a month, they put a smile on the faces of up to 25 children during their visits and made the often difficult everyday life disappear for a moment. The clowns have become a permanent fixture there, strengthening the sense of community with creative activities and creating new, positive experiences for children, parents and staff. The involvement of employees such as security and cleaning staff in particular enabled the children to experience a new side of authority and thus build trust. Where there is otherwise little to hold on to in everyday life, the RED NOSES clowns bring something wonderful – they create support and stability.
We would like to thank all RED NOSES clowns and the entire team for their great cooperation. You bring laughter and joie de vivre to people in need and we at Diyi for Kids are very grateful to have been able to accompany you over the last few years and support you with our donations.
