The Diyi for Kids Foundation stands for a holistic approach to foundation life in Berlin and for social commitment. Since our foundation, we have not only relied on monetary donations, but also consciously encourage donations of time and interests. We do not have any projects of our own. Our aim is to make other institutions and projects better known and to support them. They all have the same purpose: to promote access to better education and upbringing for children and young people.
Donations
Once again this year, we are delighted to donate a total of €4,900 to the Diyi for Kids Foundation projects. These are distributed as follows:
Time donations
Like many other non-profit organizations, we saw a trend towards decreasing willingness to donate and the amount of individual donations, especially after the Corona years from 2020. To counteract this, we stepped up our efforts to produce Diyi Charity products and go to markets. This paid off in 2024. We were able to raise over €3,500 this year through these activities alone.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the market operators and the many volunteer market helpers and hard-working knitters who made this possible with their time commitment.
Interest donations
When others talk about you, it’s a win. We already have over 650 followers on our LinkedIn profile. Instagram has remained stable, and we are seeing a slight downward trend on Facebook. If you have any ideas on how we can better reach broad age groups, please get in touch. We are open to all ideas.

Outlook 2025
Diyi for Kids is a trust foundation without its own projects. We therefore select project partners with whom we cooperate over a period of approximately three years. Like us, they must be charitable and in line with the Diyi for Kids foundation’s purpose of investing in education for children and young people. It is important to us that the donations are spread as widely as possible. We always support one project in Berlin, one in Germany and one in Nepal. We select the organizations personally and very carefully. It is important to us that the donations are used sensibly and carefully, that we are open to ideas for cooperation and that we enjoy creating. There will be two new project changes in 2025. We will once again be working with nature and with an inclusive approach. /p>
Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who has accompanied us on the Diyi for Kids Foundation journey and made their commitment available to us. We Help Kids Grow – we all help so that children and young people can flourish.
