In the middle of charming Alt-Rixdorf, one of Berlin’s most beautiful and historic districts, the traditional Christmas market opened its doors last weekend. For a long time now, not only Berliners and the whole family have been meeting here, but guests from all over the world flock to the market on the three days around the 2nd Advent. It offers a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Both for the sale of our handmade Diyi Charity products and for discussions and networking around our Diyi for Kids Foundation.
We were able to raise a total of 2,010 euros with our Diyi Charity sales, which will go directly to our projects. We want to give children and young people the best possible start in life by promoting education and access to training.
A special thank you to all those who donate their time and volunteer their time to make such market events possible for us in front of and behind the scenes – knitting, crocheting, crafting, selling, setting up market stalls, driving, loading & unloading, cheering, keeping their fingers crossed, encouraging the rain clouds to move on. And to everyone who visited our Diyi stand, informed themselves and accompanied us on our journey. Your support means a lot to us and is a big step towards making a difference together!
We look forward to the next steps together and to continuing to do good – with your help!
