260 million children and young people worldwide have no access to education

Jan 30, 2022

The UDHR, Article 26, states: Everyone has the right to education.

Nevertheless, according to a UNESCO estimate, around 260 million children and young people worldwide do not go to school. Almost a quarter of these are children of primary school age 6-11 years. In the United Nations’ Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), goal 4 targets, it was decided to provide all children and young people worldwide with an inclusive, equitable and high-quality education by 2030.

We, at the Diyi for Kids Foundation, are also doing our part to help achieve this goal over the next 8 years.
