Bürgerstiftung Berlin – With LeseLust we support volontary readers in Berlin kindergardens and elementary schools

Jan 16, 2021

In addition to international and regional projects, the Diyi for Kids Foundation also supports local Berlin projects. All our projects pursue our foundation’s purpose of supporting children and young people in education and upbringing. As a trust foundation, we enter partnerships for several years in order to promote joint projects/themes in the long run and to learn from each other.

With the Bürgerstiftung Berlin we found a partner that enables all city residents to actively participate in the social community – IN BERLIN FOR BERLIN. Steffen Schröder (Managing Director) and Alina Trebbin (Project Manager) explained to us the variety of topics that the Bürgerstiftung Berlin is committed to. We were particularly enthusiastic about one project: LeseLust.

To find out what kind of voluntary work that is and how children can benefit from it, please check out the project description.

Diyi for Kids is a young Berlin foundation. We are more than happy that the Bürgerstiftung Berlin, which have been playing a vital part among Berlin’s charity foundations, has chosen us as a project partner. During our first meeting Steffen, Alina and Dina already had a lot of ideas about a common approach in supporting social projects in Berlin. Stay tuned and follow us: Diyi for Kids & Bürgerstiftung Berlin.
