In 2018 the Diyi for Kids Foundation actively pursued long term relationships with its project partners to discover projects needing additional resources. To increase our outreach we established new social media channels for the foundation and were active on local markets with handmade products. On the one hand, this allows us to enter into discussions with interested parties and, on the other hand, the profits from Diyi products flow into our projects.
We are very proud that we will distribute more than 6,000 € to our projects for the donation year 2018. According to the Diyi for Kids charter, 51% of the project donations go to the Plan International Project – Learning in a Safe Environment in Nepal. The remaining 49% goes equally to Casa Farfalla in Switzerland and to Bildungscent e.V. in Berlin. The Casa Farfalla urgently needs a new barrier-free bathroom. We will make the donations available this year. Bildungscent e. V. is using the donations for the current Litte-Sun project, which we strongly support.
Many thanks to all donors for their trust in us and our work. The donations received in 2018 make us very proud and give us motivation going forward for our foundation work.
