Our new project partner, Christliches Jugenddorfwerk Deutschland e.V. (CJD), is committed to equal opportunities and individual support. It does this at over 150 locations with a wide range of educational, training and individual support services for young people with special needs.
We have chosen to support the Christophorus School in Hoppenrade, where a team of over 200 pupils and teachers will benefit from your donations. The school promotes an individual lifestyle and self-realization in social integration, with a focus on autism-specific support and counselling, among other things. The most urgent needs are sports equipment that meets the individual needs of the pupils and the installation of a shelter with seating, which the pupils can use as a social meeting place in the schoolyard.
Diyi for Kids is very happy about the new partnership. As always, you can find more information in Diyi projects. The picture shows me with Jeannette Gurkasch. She is the principal and looks directly into “Bruno’s” home from her window. Stay curious to see what there is to discover at Christophorus School.
