Jahresabschluss 2021 // Annual closing 2021
Als Treuhandstiftung ist es unser Ziel, Projekte zu unterstützen, die gemäß unserem Satzungszweck die Bildung und Erziehung von Kindern und Jugendlichen nachhaltig fördern. Gleich zum Jahresauftakt sind wir mit zwei neuen Projektpartner:innen gestartet: „ROTE NASEN Deutschland e.V.“ für unser deutschlandweites Projekt und mit der „Bürgerstiftung Berlin“ unser Berliner Projekt. Hier galt es zunächst, sich gegenseitig und die Projekte kennenzulernen. Darauf folgte der administrative Teil: unsere Webseite wurde aktualisiert, der SEO-Prozess optimiert, wir haben die Neuigkeiten in die sozialen Medien gestellt und haben seit 2021 nun auch ein Stiftungsprofil auf LinkedIn.
Leider wurden pandemiebedingt erneut die Weihnachtsmärkte und somit eine wichtige Kontaktquelle für uns abgesagt. Dennoch konnten wir an einer kleineren Veranstaltung teilnehmen und erstmalig unseren neuen Stiftungsflyer verteilen. Hast du Interesse, diesen zu erhalten? Kontakiere uns gerne.
Mit dem Vertrauen der treuen Diyi Spender:innen und Diyi-Freund:innen konnten wir auch 2021 einen großen Beitrag für Kinder und Jugendliche leisten und haben folgende Spenden überwiesen:
Plan International 2.100 € – Weite Schulwege erschweren in der Bergregion Karnali in Nepal den Zugang zu den Schulen. Vor besonderen Herausforderungen stehen Kinder mit Behinderungen, da die Schulen nicht auf ihre Bedürfnisse zugeschnitten sind. Daher geht ein Drittel von ihnen nicht zur Schule. Mit euren Spenden schaffen wir eine anständige Lernumgebung inkl. Lernmaterialien und Leseecken an zwei Schulen, bilden Lehrkräfte mit aus und investieren in zwei mobile Klassenzimmer, die in die Dörfer fahren, um den Schulalltag sicher zu stellen.
ROTE NASEN Deutschland e.V. 1.000 € – „Freude und Hoffnung für Menschen in Not“ heißt unser Deutschland Projekt. Geflüchteten Kindern und deren Familien wird über die ROTE NASEN Clown ein Beitrag zur Trauma Bewältigung und zur psychologischen Stabilisierung geleistet. Im Haus am Schwalbenberg, einer Einrichtung für Geflüchtete, besuchen die Clowns regelmäßig die Kinder und leisten einen wichtigen Beitrag zur emotionalen Stabilisierung und vor allem: sie bringen Hoffnung und bessere Zukunftschancen. Mit eurer Spende konnten wir mit den Clownsbesuchen viele Kinder und deren Familien erreichen.
Bürgerstiftung Berlin – 1.000 € – Unser lokales Berliner Projekt ist die „Leselust“. Für alle Lebensbereiche ist Lesekompetenz eine unverzichtbare Schlüsselqualifikation. Ehrenamtliche Lesepat:innen erreichen wöchentlich über 1500 Kinder im Alter von 3-10 Jahren in Kitas und Grundschulen. Durch das Miteinanderlesen werden die Kinder immer mehr in das Lesen und die eigene Inspiration geholt. Mit dieser Spende haben wir einem Kindergarten eine einjährige Lesepatenschaft finanziert.
Auch unsere Treuhandstiftung hat regelmäßig Ausgaben, z. B. für Webseitenhosting und -pflege, Fundraising sowie die Stiftungsverwaltung inkl. Bilanzerstellung. Diese haben wir auch in 2021 von den allgemeinen Spenden und aus eigenen Mitteln finanziert.
Für 2022 haben wir auch schon richtig gute Nachrichten: Diyi for Kids ist Teil der Kampagne „Ganz Schön Persönlich“ der Berliner Stiftungswoche. Die Stiftungswoche findet jedes Jahr 11 Tage im April statt und bietet Stiftungen aus der Hauptstadtregion ein öffentliches Schaufenster für Austausch, Bekanntheit und Diskussionen. As a trust foundation, our goal is to support projects that sustainably promote the education and upbringing of children and young people in accordance with our statutory purpose. We started the year with two new project partners: „ROTE NASEN Deutschland e.V.“ for our Germany-wide project and the „Bürgerstiftung Berlin“, our Berlin project. The first task was to get to know each other and the new projects. Following this, the administrative part: Updating our website, optimizing the SEO-process, spreading the news in social media and – new in 2021 – we have a foundation profile on LinkedIn.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the Christmas markets were once again cancelled and thus an important source of contacts for us. Plan International 2.100 € – Long distances to school in the mountainous region of Karnali in Nepal make access to schools difficult. Children with disabilities face particular challenges, as schools are not tailored to their needs. As a result, one third of them do not go to school. With your donations we create a decent learning environment including learning materials and reading corners at two schools, train teachers and invest in two mobile classrooms that travel to the villages to ensure the school day.
ROTE NASEN Deutschland e.V. 1.000 € – „Joy and hope for people in need“ is the name of our Germany project. Refugee children and their families are given a contribution to trauma management and psychological stabilization through the RED NOSES clown. At Haus am Schwalbenberg, a facility for refugees, the clowns regularly visit the children and make an important contribution to their emotional stabilization and above all: they bring hope and better chances for the future. With your donation we were able to reach many children and their families with the clown visits.
Bürgerstiftung Berlin – 1.000 € – Our local Berlin project is „Leselust“. Reading skills are an indispensable key qualification for all areas of life. Volunteer reading mentors reach over 1500 children aged 3-10 in daycare centers and elementary schools every week. By reading together, the children are increasingly drawn into reading and their own inspiration. We used this donation to fund a one-year reading mentorship for a kindergarten.
Our trust foundation also has regular expenses, e.g. for website hosting and maintenance, fundraising costs, and foundation administration including balance sheet preparation. We have financed these also in 2021 from the general donations and from our own funds.
For 2022 we already have really good news: Diyi for Kids is part of the campaign „Ganz Schön Persönlich“ of the BErlin Foundation Week. The Foundation Week takes place every year for 11 days in April and offers foundations from the capital region a public showcase for exchange, awareness and discussion.
